Have you ever received some news
That lifts your spirits high
You feel like you're on a cloud
Drifting way up high

You can't believe what you've heard
You think you're in a dream
But you know for sure it's real
You know just what it means

I received news like that today
It was a long time coming
I walked through the whole day
Just smiling and humming

I feel like the weight of the world
Was taken off my shoulders
I can once again get on with life
So I can concentrate on growing older

I owe it all to the doctors and nurses
Who helped me along the way
Without their dedication
I wouldn't be alive today
