Doctor Speaks On Doctors Poem by Arun Maji

In crisis situation,
a doctor may focus only on technical aspect of patient care,
but he may ignore kindness and compassion aspect of patient care.

But it's the crisis situation,
when both patient and his family need more kindness and compassion.

As a result-
a huge gap is observed between
what doctor thinks he does for patients;
and what patient thinks he receives from doctor.

This gap is a significant reason
for conflict between patients and doctors.

A doctor who is kind and compassionate in his approach
can reduce this conflict.
