Dodge City Tourism Board Poem by Raj Dronamraju

Dodge City Tourism Board

I am going to doublecheck your figures
I want to know this for myself
I found you in the history of larceny, genealogy study of your family speaks for itself
You seem tight and constant scowls for flinching fancy folks
The tribunal decides to adjourn
They are coming back later with "I'm still alive"

I am going to doublecheck your stories
A car with one way tinted windows - Seeing out but not being able to see in
Imagine your prophet then
I took this as an admission of responsibility for ancestor's actions
I paid for all I am (my standing, my inherited identity etc.)with "I'm still alive"
It didn't start this way, they exaggerated what happened here
