Dog's Freezing Poem by Randy McClave

Dog's Freezing

I've seen a bunch of posts
About not leaving dogs out in the cold,
I will not ever do that many said as boasts
They are their family we've all been told.
If you see a dog on the loose outside
In this cold cold night or cold, cold day,
Be a Saint many has pleaded and has cried
Feed them and give them a warm place to stay.
I seen the posts on these different public sites
About dogs in yards that they have seen,
Being out in these cold cold nights
And how their owners are awful and mean.
I read the posts and I see all the pics
All about the cold, cold dogs and to help them please,
But, there is not one post in my town or in the sticks
About helping the homeless outside not to freeze.
