Don't Be Afraid Poem by Gary James Smith

Don't Be Afraid

Don't Be Afraid

Don't be afraid of being converted
Better than ending up going to Hell
Satan goes about as a roaring lion
Trying to stifle God's Word as well
He will come up with any reason
Why you should prolong decision day
Spurn his procrastinationary tactics
Come to the Lord and be saved today

Yes today! Why not make it final
A new beginning in Jesus Christ
Offer back to God the life He gave you
For He has paid your ransom price
His name above all names is glorious
Not one smudge of sin upon that One
Precious Redeemer is Christ the Lord
Come and receive for sinner's pardon

He will cast away all darkness
Lead you in the paths of Light
Take the Hand who holds tomorrow
Find rest in hope with Him tonight
May the Spirit work in your heart
Father God to you I pray
May some wandering soul find that Haven
It will be heaven to them today

Hallelujah what a Saviour!

Amen! What a powerful message on God's love and forgiveness, and the urgent call to respond the the Gospel while there is time.
