Don'T Eat My Lunch...... Poem by Norman Jin Shyr Wang

Don'T Eat My Lunch......

Rating: 5.0

Tongue in the air
picked up scents, slicked and wiggled
a strong stero-smell.

354 bones angered 'n
coiled with mad muscles wrapping
a python, stealing.

One more breathing out
ten narrowings of body
relaxed, heart-beat stopped.

Dislocating jaw
five times bigger than head stretched
teeth drove in retches.

It's adjusted to
metabolism sevenfold
melting prey, scaffolded.

Python's many tears
that wept for pity bitty,
's engulfed, greedy-
misery
