Don`t Get Upset Poem by Bireswar Halder

Don`t Get Upset

Do not let sorrow's tentacles bind you
Wear a smile and take it head on
Nothing is permanent in this world
Wait for its flames to lose their way.

Life is a struggle, the old saying goes
It begins at cradle, like a shadow lives till death
All along we need to be wary to face its ire
Mark your steps, face off the challenge it poses.

Don`t let yourself down sensing a failure
As failures only lead one to wear steely nerves
Proceed ahead keeping aside all premonitions
Set eyes on the goal you have as a mission.

You are none else but a traveller
The terrain may not be smooth and easy
Don`t get afraid while you are in a long march
Have patience, my dear, soldier on all along.

Human life is full of mysteries
Nobody knows what is stored in fate
Let us enjoy each moment of the journey
In sorrow or in happiness, let fortitude prevail.
