your Honor,
I have no other choice
but, to tell you the truth

about my neighbor’s house fire:
which, I really don’t know nothing about.

it seems to me,
just bad luck &
bad karma,
pertainin’ to what happened,
which probably was smoldering
behind smoke,
for quite some time,
other neighbors can attest to.

I know this.

since “Mr. Dog Kicker” moved,
to the Red Cross Shelter:
my dog hasn’t been limpin’
and has been barkin’ pretty strong.

I swear to this though-
I feel real sorry…
for what happened to his cats.
