Ever since we said 'goodbye'
To the tide that brought us together
I still can't let go of the moments fate kept us together
Even though our encounter was brought about by serendipity
And what people regard to as 'fate'
I cannot underestimate the fact
That something has been stolen away from me
And no matter how hard i try
Have not been able to retrieve it
You've stolen my heart away
And my plea is, 'don't leave me empty'
For wherever my heart is
There my love is
