Don't Lose Christ Poem by Qiniso Mogale

Don't Lose Christ

When earthly riches are lost
Don't lose your heavenly riches
When human love is lost
Don't lose your love for God
When all is lost, don't lose Christ.

When people lose respect
Don't lose your self respect
When people feel you're worthless
Don't lose your self worth
When people belittle you
Don't lose your dignity
When people have lost all hope
Don't lose your hope in Christ
When all is lost, don't lose Christ.

When parents turn their backs on you
Don't turn your back on God
When those close to you betray you
Know that God is faithful
When you're weak
Know that Christ is your strength
In the midst of hurricanes and storms
Christ commands that you be still
When all is lost, don't lose Christ.
