Don't Lose Faith Mom. Poem by duke perry abrokwa

Don't Lose Faith Mom.

In the tapestry of Oh, how my heart breaks to see
My mother lose her faith so free
The pain and fear of nearly losing me
Has shaken her beliefs, oh woe is me

Her love for God was once so strong
Her faith unwavering, a beautiful song
But seeing me suffer on that operating table
Has made her question, has made her unstable

She prayed and prayed, day and night
For me to come out of that fight
But when the outcome was in God's hands
She felt abandoned, left in the barren lands

Oh, dear mother, don't lose your way
God's love for you will never sway
Though life may bring trials and strife
His love for you will always be rife

Hold on to hope, hold on to love
God's grace will lift you up above
Though pain and fear may grip your heart
His love will never let you fall apart

Dear Lord, heal my mother's heart
And let her faith in you restart
For in you alone is true peace found
And in your love, our souls are bound., woven with threads of care,
