Don't Make Promises That You Can't Keep
People don't always keep their promises,
People might not show up when they say that they are,
That's really tough on a child,
They may be upset that you didn't see them in the play at school,
You might be the reason that your baseball team lost,
You might think that you caused your parents to split up,
Some people don't connect,
Today may be the perfect day to patch up old wounds.
