Toy Soldier Poem by Lauren Coles

There are two types of soldiers,
The brave soldiers,
And the ones that need to be wound up,
A soldier that is a toy must be walking on their mechanical legs when they suddenly decide to wine down,
a real life soldier can't give up because they have to protect their entire country regardless of the pain,
Toy soldiers have moving parts that can make it hard to keep their body running properly,
Good thing they aren't used all year round so they can get some much needed rest,
They have no choice but to stay in a storage container so when the hollidays come around so they get out of their container.
