Doorknob Was Last Object On Earth Preventing Exit

I see with vision to see with wonder to fill in the empty spaces
character actors are like this taking a basic script mere clay
looking for access entry insight Oscar star defining moments

character actors know what defining moments are
intense focus moments when what a character does
is what a character is the script is but bare bones

mere clay succinct directs but simple directions
character actor must see the gaps fill in the gaps
to flesh out scenes breathe life he goes to door exits

or she gets up goes to door exit stage left right
mere direction dry bones where is inspired vision
where is tension moment where is focus point

fingers reach out feeling for sought doorknob
fingers reaching for doorknob in semi darkness
fingers touching doorknob affirm door presence

fingers closing around doorknob firm grasping
fingers turning it doorknob in silent intensity
fingers turning doorknob possessed by themselves

fingers cause silent movement the latch slides
fingers cause doorknob turned to slide out of strike-plate
fingers cause door pulled to swing on hinges

fingers cause silent movement air rush displacement
fingers cause silent movement in inky semi darkness
fingers cause preparation legs about to take first step

fingers cause exit stealth thief to take first step
fingers cause exit thief to escape over threshold
fingers cause exit escape into space different light

fingers cause thief to safely exit crime scene
fingers cause thief to stealth exit in seconds
fingers cause thief to disappear in cloak night

doorknob was last object on earth preventing exit
