Doting Bliss, You Are My Light Poem by anonymous californian

Doting Bliss, You Are My Light

Your gaze that I had met for the first time had made me fall,
Out of things I thought of how new love makes people act at all.

Under stars my stomach crawled and I was sickened then with fright,
Abrupted by that funny voice that had been asking for 'a light'.

Raptured by your presence there were no words left to say,
Emptiness was purely filled up with the essence of that day.

Making my way home was something I can now regret,
You will forever keep my mind and how should I ever forget.

Laughter that was laughed and words that shouldn't have been said,
I forget about all others you're now who I want instead.

Gaining your attention was not something I'd do twice

How could you notice me if that is how you choose to act,
To the moon I will love you and I still will on the way back.
