Dream Poem by Marbet Daniel

Dream

If for a minute I may,
fly high in the sky
over the heads of men
to the branches of tall trees,
like it was in my dream,
No, like it always is.
It will be a dream come true
I will be the happiest man on earth,
enjoying the buoyancy of air
that no physics can explain.
Enjoying high long jumps,
just a few from city to city
It will be a dream come true,
that seemingly it will never happen,
though a part of me still holds to faith,
that the uniqueness of mother nature can make it real.
compelling me to jump in the middle of the high-way,
But the 'reality' still wins
and calls it just a dream,
only because of the many eyes in the scene.

Aren't dreams wonderful! The one place we can do anything and be anything! Great poem!
