Dreams Poem by maria guzvic

Dreams

What happens to dreams
When night has passed
When the sun awakes
And the world seems vast

Eyes full of sleep
Nights fancy fair
Rays shine in
Bird song to compare

In dream I float
On an ocean azure
Cruising in life
Fortunes pure

A mirror reflects
What I came to be
Breeze under my wings
Release and set free

Waltzing among lavender
Gazing at clouds
Accepting a word
Gracious and proud

A lifeline, a hope
A reason to pray
Thank you Lord
For another day
