Dreams Poem by Alone Mordakai

Dreams

With once I saw upon a dream
That which utmost frightens me
For this thing that my heart doth touch
When I awake, is naught but dust.

Return to the realm of the unawake
Though not much more my heart can take
Should I dream, I beg "be dark! "
For there, at least, no feelings hark.

And in that daylight when tears draw nigh
As the dust fades away in the blinding light
I feel the scar on my heart's shore
And think of you forevermore.
