Down to the chamber near the garden of lust,
Through the short north we travel at dusk
Asleep we awake to the snow covered day,
Then we lay our heads down and the rain takes us away.
Black leather on skin, the barbed wire rose
The collar enslaves us with the pleasure we know
Across the sea as time makes its stand
Two minds, one body, fight for the hand.
A tear, a shadow, and her beautiful soul
Her anger: a storm, forces of the mind untold
Until, finally, sweat and steam, skin against skin
A smile, a bite, her strength I give in.
A hazy, at midnight, pitch-black world
A blur, an illusion, the comforting girl
A promise, though gothic in its design
Singleminded, devoted, forever through time.
Shadow, protection from the world unknown
A guardian protecting his one betrothed
Traveling, watching, metal on skin
Pleasure from pain with a copper scent.
Head forced back by a pull of the hair
Her scent forms the lost despair
Fog on the windows as we both understand
The world, illusion, true energy in hand.
Black and white, glad I can't see
Her tears are mine, her pain into me
Love, if you will, is only a word
But that undying feeling once her back is turned?
Fantasy: a legacy if only of mind
Love in a page or a song in kind
Magic: what if love was turned as a page?
A hero a girl and the end of days.
But finally, the end as everything must
A girl, a guy, a feeling of lust
From gothic, and leather and the steel of the rose
To skin and sweat and tears and those
Days of night, soft looks in her eyes
In words: expressions for which I would die
To sacrifice with pain, what would I do?
If only I could, I'd fall asleep for you
