the stars that hold there place,
way up in the sky,
remind me of the eyes,
in my guy.

i saw them sparkle
that day and night,
but something happened,
that just wasn't right.

shes making him sad,
and making him cry,
its not a joke,
and i try not to pry.

i see the pain in his heart,
i want to make it better,
wishing i was there,
to show you i care.

my dreams came true,
that night i met you,
i saw you smile,
though it took a while.

i took her place,
and made a mark,
the fire between us,
ignited by a spark.

it will never die,
the passion we hold,
it getting dark,
and feeling cold.

my love for you,
begins to grow,
as you proved your love,
and are letting it show.
