Dreams, An Exercise In Futility Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Dreams, An Exercise In Futility

Waking up from a restless sleep, not wanting to leave a dream
in the midst of an adventure.

A soothing mist covering and calming everything in this human
world.

An exercise in futility, that will take away loneliness and
fulfill emptiness.

So much to hold onto in this world of heartache and forsaken
love as steps of life go their own way, towards the end of life.
