Dreams Of Singapore Poem by Mick Law

Dreams Of Singapore

There we were just
you and I
In the steel built eye of the city
a vast panorama spread out around us:
Buildings ancient and new.
Distant green moorlands
and far away villages.........
they meant nothing.
Because, there we were
just you and I...........

how pretty in its simplicity. :) In the steel built. eye of the city and a vast panorama spread out around us: and the buildings old and new. what an apt description of singapore.
