Dreams - The Golden Steps Poem by Paul Warren

Dreams - The Golden Steps

The sun beats its path across the sky
The golden steps lead as I walk by
In this dream I know what purpose is
As I make my way in perfect bliss
Then I'm awake again in truth now told
And I can't find my way or be that bold
This fear now grips and I cower away
I can't see the golden steps held at bay
Then I dreamt the dream of fulfilment
And was thankful for the guidance sent.
