'Twas a long dream
I too often scream
and
the sea says
silent you be

someone will hear ye
what will they think
in dreams what we are doing

but then when dreams break
only tears come by
why did I not
before his going away cry

now when will he come by
from the shore
the sea silently recedes
as does my dream
I beseech
the beach

let me continue
enjoying in my dream
I go into slumber again...
