Drifter Poem by Chan Mongol

Drifter

DRIFTER
By Chan Mongol

Actually, I don't write poetry;

I write facts from my memory.

I don't want to forget my past journey;

What I had what I lost in the family!

The experience of war made me sour;

Mark 4 and 303 made me a loser.

A heavy machine gun could do better;

I was not given a HMG in the war.

Horse manure is a better fertilizer;

A drifter is a story teller, a survivor.
