Drinking Buddies At The Bar Poem by Dorsey Baker

They meet every night at the bar
to drink and talk
and they talk mostly about women
they stay really late at the bar
they are there long after everybody
else has left
they say that being there keeps
them from becoming a victim of depression
they can laugh they can cry together
talk as much as they want to
they listen to each other carefully
and they never interrupt each other
they respect each others pain each others
joy the conversation always center
around women
its a topic that keep them coming
back to the bar night after night
its a subject it seems they
can never talk too much about!
