Driving Down Streets Late At Night Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Driving Down Streets Late At Night

Driving down streets late at night, enjoying the Christmas
lights, but the traffic, not so much,

Keeping the Christmas spirit bright and into the New Year
loving the beauty, smiles and good cheer.

Too bad people cannot be so happy, joyful and loving the
whole year round, life and humanity would be much better off.

Perhaps bringing peace and serenity to this world of ours,
this poet wishing it could happen, knowing it will definitely
be in the future.
