Dry My Tears Poem by Ndina Kamaro Muofhe

Dry My Tears

Rivers running
From the sky, heavy drops pouring
This, is never seasonal
But endless situation!

My heart needs some tender
It bleeds tears of loneliness
Feeling unwanted and forsaken
Like an island wishing to be found

If you could hear my words
And feel what I'm offering,
My heart, it will appease
If you could just reach out

Silent babies are never fed
Yet, for you, from my heart the whining is encore
The long for you is immortal
It will die the day you reach out

Dry my tears
Save my lonely feeling
It is your love it seeks

If I have a choice I'd give up
But my heart wouldn't let me
It's you it worships
Return the favor, please

My heart dies to be loved by you
You are a grace that shall save
Your love will be an embrace full of life
In advance, it is thankful
Please, reach out

Dry my tears
Take this love my heart brews
For you, it's specially made
