Beyond The Border No.3 (of 9)
In the gurgling stream running,
My weapons I'm sharpening;
A sharp pain comes suddenly
From my hand as the blade cuts deeply.
Amidst the red water flowing, I let out a loud cry,
Long been baffled and angry have I!
The Emperor I've vowed to serve above all,
Then why should I complain at all?
We warriors should do our best: merits and fame to gain,
Though quickly bones on battlefields turn into dust again!
