Duality, Life Outside The Garden Of Eden Poem by Chuy Amante

Duality, Life Outside The Garden Of Eden

This Earth, half dark, half light,
half full of fun, half full of fight.

Why the hot, why the cold?
Why the fearful, why the bold?

A lot is wet, a lot is dry,
half the people sober, half the people high!

Could God create good, without creating bad?
One Savior of Light, one Devil so mad?

Is there nice when there is no mean?
Does life's content depend on its own scene?

Content in Context, make things stand out, I posit,
Can anything be experienced without its opposite?
