Duck V Mouse Poem by Ima Ryma

Duck V Mouse

Walt Disney was looking to find
A Mickey Mouse more ornery
Cuz Mickey was so goodie kind -
Somewhat boring he'd come to be.
So Donald Duck, a grouch, became
With look and voice that took him far,
In some ways eclipsed Mickey's fame,
Being in lots more films as star.
Mickey, role model for be good,
Was quite peeved, but what could he do?
Rid the bird - if only he could.
He could only dream of duck stew.

For Mickey, Donald was bad luck.
Mickey oft complained, 'What the Duck! '
