Duet
Together we sang a duet
you and I,
the music was heavenly
our voices soothing.
when distance divorced us
the duet sounded in my heart
my heart of longing
soothed by it.
but how
when it happened
i don't know
but in unity
the duet
out of tune it turned
and now…
now we
don't even sing the same song…
