! Dumped - Poem by Michael Shepherd

Thanks, I'll have a white wine. Small.

You 'wanted to talk'.
He's dumping me. I'll live.

because you 'like to live an honest life'.
What life.

but you 'hope we'll be friends'.
Friends of who?

so shall we share the bill?

An expensive night out in more way than one I guess.
