Dvarapala Poem by Somendra Gaur

Dvarapala

I wanna eat my emotions just like Saturn ate his own sons,
b'cause he was afraid they'll kill him.
Just want to channel a demon inside,
to kill all the empathy and warmth left.
In this 'Age of Downfall' (Kalyug)
Every Saturn was once a Zeus.
In this Kalyuga,
Both Evil and Good are within us;
Using'em for our own selves is wisdom.
Whatever holocaust it takes to satisfy the Narcissist in me,
Shall be my good.
Ungodliness is the true human nature,
B'cause hate is the purest emotion.
Even holy water of Ganges shan't work on me,
I'm an Afrit.
