Dvp Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Dvp

DVP

The three moved on wheels
-Four beneath, to roll on
-One in hand to steer

Neither lanes nor the lines
-could order when racing
-Porsche and Mustang and Audi

Left and right they zigzagged
-as if no other car or truck
-was sharing the pathway
-except them; feet on gas

Enticing their action was to some
-dancing to crazy engine sound
-here, there somebody pushed pedal
-One of such was I…
-to show them what went on

Finally the red car, Ford Mustang
-as ordered the mass in traffic
-with a girl-driver slowed down
-could see her in fear, she blushed
-the others, a Chinese descendent
-other less visible; children born to wealth
-ignored world as have done their parents…
-slogan is simple: "I, I; I …"

No worries for them if police reached, stopped
-penalty would not be but few hundreds…
-doesn't mean much to them…
-these leeches, mosquitoes live sucking on blood
-they get you if not I, and others if not you
-to get the paid return…

Must fight the extreme everywhere
-everything, all aspect, regardless…
-even wealth…
-since it comes of cheating, stealing…
-abusing Mother Earth
-and are wrong; therefore fight the unjust…
