Dying Light Poem by Kel Smith

Dying Light

Rating: 5.0

leaves dance about the wind
dying light reflecting in their crystalline edges
gleams of purples, pinks and blues
the dazzling sky set on fire
ocean mist twinkles in the dwindling light
the moon reflects like a mirror
in the dark and calming drink
a familiar face revealed
the souls of thousands lost
shattered shells tugged by teasing waves
the gentle surf tranquil and serene
dipping into the sea
a starry blanket envelopes
