Each Other Poem by Jas Andrada

Each Other

Longing was shared by our hearts when we went through those rocky roads of life. We held each other’s hand and I knew that you are the only thing I need to live. I still reminisce those days when I used to your worst nightmare. I hated you, you hated me. But I had this little feeling in my heart that I couldn’t explain. I felt that you had it too but I’m not so sure. And cowardice overcame me when my brain told me to ask you about it. Silent months passed until you had a lover. I cried myself to sleep during those times. I was very happy when you two broke up. Then one day, you FORCED me to come with you to an unknown hill. I remembered that day when the setting sun waved at me as it flashed its rays across the blanket of clouds majestically. You threatened me just to make me show you the place in my arm where I carved your name.
