Each Sunday After Easter Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Each Sunday After Easter

There has been four phases of the Moon,
Each Sunday after Easter.
Which was April Fool's Day.
On the 8th of April,
The last quarter appeared.
On the 15th seven days away from the 8th,
New was the Moon to allow some to meditate.
The first quarter came to inspire desires wished.
And the Moon full and bright on the 29th,
Many hopeful slept peacefully that night.

Subtle changes? Perhaps.
But more revealed to view.
This April in the year 2018,
Clouds are removed from disbeliefs.
To accept what is true.
No longer to ignore, deny or delude.
It is April,
Bearing fruit each Sunday after Easter.
When few minds will stay remaining abused.
Amused by those who chose to confuse reality.
And the clarity that reality brings.
