Early In The Morning

As a young child, I loved getting up
early in the morning. I couldn't wait
to get out of bed! I tried to be as
quiet as I could, but awakened my
family instead. It goes without saying,
they were really annoyed with me, as
they enjoyed sleeping late. I was up
at the crack of dawn, they never got
up, till after eight. When you're used
to getting up early in the morning, it's
very peaceful, everything's fresh and
new. There's a clean smell in the air
and the ground, still moist with dew!
When the sun comes out, it adds it's
warmth, to help make it a beautiful
day. If I wasn't an early riser, look
what I'd miss. I'd probably still be
in bed, sleeping the time, away!
