Early Morning Blues - Poem by Carolyn Sears

Early morning blues quickly consume
Without warning
It feels my heart
It feels my spirit
With broken dreams
Capturing my mind in a
Without reason, without
A word that causes the
Sun to shine..
Blinded eyes, I could not
A broken spirit to wander
Into the darken shadows
Without a destination..

Deep and plunging effectively to the depths of your experience. Wonderfully captured! I hope your blues have passed! (Report)Reply
