Easy to topple a kingdom
Like children, playing with blocks
Easy to say when it's bright as day
The world is gathering dust
Easy to argue, and cause it to rain
On each one and everyone's claim to fame
Easy to grouse and to tear it apart
As if it were paper, the last of the heart
But the heart goes on, it is useless to try
To topple its kingdom when God is the why
When truth is persistent and joy even more
We cannot be beggared we cannot be poor
Standing in tatters who cares at the gate
Rich by all measures and blessed in our fate
Who speak only starlight and starry, resolve
In the face of disaster, in song, without pause.
