Eating At Burger King Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Eating At Burger King

Masticating enjoyably at Burger King, in my mind, as I
patiently await my number one value meal.

Watching children smiling, talking, laughing, chattering,
enjoying their dining experience of lunch.

Ever more people crowding into line, herded much like
cattle between metal rails, waiting to be served.

Dull, mediocre music playing faintly above the din of
noise being emitted by the crowd.

Still sitting, writing, passing time until lunch is
served.
