Ebony Poem by Viola Grey

Ebony

Rating: 3.9

Ebony ink on faded azure
swallows amber teardrops
swimming the surface of forgotten tides.
Tonight...we meet.
Shivered breath of icy desire
ripples valleys upon exposed necks,
dancing each naked flame
towards their death.
Embrace warmth inside limbs
long searching for their shelter,
spreading thunderclaps of happiness
singing from our chests.
Into ebony etched with tears
glistening upon this sky
we walk, entwined, towards safety
found within each other.
