Echt

Welcomed into their language by the English,
you would think,
would be a German word meaning genuine,
real, total, typical, mint and true blue.

It hasn't been;
the English just will not say 'ch'
like the Germans do.

They say 'eckt'
and it just doesn't ring true,
real, genuine, total, mint,
typical and true blue.

Conversation makes this suitable when this is well understood. German word's meaning is genuine. English is also nice language. You have deeply explained everything here. This is an excellent poem...10
