ECLIPSE Poem by Hugo Jamioy Juagibioy

ECLIPSE

The sun boy runs adolescent
he wants to catch up with the moon;

the girl moon dances flirting
she dodges the arms of the sun;

sometimes, her mother
meddles in their encounters
she does not want her daughter taken away
she would remain alone in the darkness.
