Edgar And The Tree Poem by Gerhardus Keen

Edgar And The Tree

I see you like to run
and you do it just for fun
you take it in stride
your heart filled with pride
you push yourself for more
even though your feet are sore
the last few steps you closed your eyes
that was not very wise
please mister Poe listen to me
don't go running into that tree
