Egyptian Brother Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Egyptian Brother

Egyptian brother

Egyptian, my friend, brother
-you, Samee, the teacher
-allow me to insist
-we shall not blame
-USA or Europe, Israel or others
-shortage sits in ourselves, our brains
-too small radius of circles of knowledge

I admit and love him
-Mohammad is great
-if he was prophet
-or by chance he was not
-he sure is great and
-deserves being admired

I have read most of what
-he said or is said to have said them

I mentioned radius and repeat:
- "…of our act, visibly is bleak…"
-if you read the books of
-other faiths and old myths
-to the one of the Jews, Christians
-you can see how wise was Mohammad

Have you heard the answer?
- "Visit sick or graves."
-when feel low, complain
-you take it to be "His", "Mohammad's"
-no is not; is older, far before he was born
-but still Mohammad is wise to
-have known it to advise

The same goes for the house
- "See neighbour of the house,
-before you pay and buy! "
-you see it as Zahra's
-it is not, she had heard the advice
-she knew so was wise.

You and I, brother, are Hemar and give ride!
