What comes in Thee, that I see the world through Thy eyes
What lies in Thee, that I see my world in Thee
Had Thee not been in me, there had been no life
Had Thee not loved, I had not been living
Thou live in my heart, Thou art my soul
Thou art the life, Thou art the whole…

Thou taught me what it is to be poor
And so I learn, I stand richest in Thy love
Thou taught me how to beg
And so I learn, Thee gave me more than enough
Thou taught me what it is to be ailed
And I learn, how nourished is my life with Thee
Thou taught me what hunger and thirst feels like
And I learn how sumptuous I am with Thy grace

Thou taught me how to stand for myself
And I learn how strong I am by Your side
Thou taught me how to bend my head low in guilt
And so I know I will never let You down again
Thou taught me how to raise my head in prayer
And so I learn Thy love is as infinite as the cosmos
Thou taught me how to kneel and ask
And so I learn, what more than Thy grace! !
Thou taught me how to serve
And so I learn it is the cause of my birth
Thou taught me how to smile
And so I know, that is Thy master stroke
Thou taught me how to give joy
And so I learn Thou art the sole receiver

Thou taught me how to love
And so I learn Thou art the very paradigm
Thou gave me Thy love…
And so I love Thy men

No language, no words, no eloquence can ever narrate my indebtedness to Thee
The only words I find now in Thy grandeur are
Saanse dene ki rehmat toh kar hi chuka hai tu, ek aur barkat dede
Ae Khuda! ! Teri rehmat bhool jaun, usse pehle meri rooh ko tere noor mein takmeel kar de
"Thy forgiveness, Our Lord, and to Thee is the end of all journeys"
