Ek Omkar Poem by ramesh rai

Ek Omkar

Everything is encompassed in a single name;
All rivers flow into the same ocean,
Forsaking their individual names,
And shedding their separate identities.

Gathering nectar in the garden of sweetness,
And gathering love along the way;
Yet, a yearning stirs within—
Wondering what song I should compose.

I crafted a garland—a bond of love—
By stringing flowers one by one;
Priceless is that thread
Which holds love for all.

I attained neither knowledge in this life,
Nor the grace of devotion;
Of what use is this existence,
If it brings no liberation?
