El Roi Poem by Catherine Agunat

El Roi

You heard my cry in the desolate valley,
You rescued me and flooded me
with your grace and mercy.

You calmed the raging battle in my mind,
You quenched my thirsty soul,
mend my broken heart and
filled my days with sunshine.

Day and night you let me sing your song,
You gave me thousand reasons
to praise and trust you whatever may come along.

El Roi, the God who sees me
In your mighty hands I always rely,
and continually draw from your well that never runs dry.
